Early Life

The rapper was born on January 19, 1992, to his parents Karen Meyers and Mark McCormick. He was born in Pittsburgh having the blood of both Christian and a Jew. His mother is a photographer, and his father is an architect.

He was born as well as raised in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Brought up as a Jew, he even had a Bar Mitzvah according to Jewish culture.

Education

For his primary schooling, Miller attended the Winchester Thurston School. After finishing his primary education, he attended the Taylor Allderdice High School for his high school. While in his high school, he was athletic and was involved in all the sports.

After being signed by the Rostrum Records, he started working on his next mixtape- K.I.D.S which was released through the records in August of 2010. His breakthrough followed soon after when he started his tour- Dope Tour which was sold out in every location. For his music, he was even honored with two awards at the Pittsburgh Hip-Hop Awards.

After his popularity reached more fan members, he then released yet another mixtape called- Best Day Ever. On November 22, 2010, Knock Knock, his first single premiered worldwide through YouTube. He then released an EP called – On and On and Beyond. Following its successful venture, he then released his first debut album- Blue Slide Park in the year 2011.

The album topped the Billboard 200 and within it’s first well sold 144,000 copies.

Miller’s fan base increased with each release. In the year 2012, he released several mixtapes and music videos including- Macadelic, Loud, Pink Slime, as well as Glow.

Followed by his next album release, he worked with many popular artists like- Pharell Williams, Tyler The Creator, Earl Sweatshirt, Action Branson as well as Jay Electronica. He then released his second album- Watching Movies with the Sound Off and his fourth album- ‘GO:OD AM.’
