The rapper was born on January 19, 1992, to his parents Karen Meyers and Mark McCormick. He was born in Pittsburgh having the blood of both Christian and a Jew. His mother is a photographer, and his father is an architect.

He then released an EP called – On and On and Beyond. Following its successful venture, he then released his first debut album- Blue Slide Park in the year 2011.
The album topped the Billboard 200 and within it’s first well sold 144,000 copies.
